| I didn't expect a 5 star hotel room, but for the price I was pleasantly suprised how nice the rooms were. The staff was very friendly, however there was only one desk person so there was a bit of a wait at both check-in and check-out. |

| This place is old, but clean. Watch the hot water in the shower. It can rapidly change. I stayed at another Hotel around Chicago which was much worse. Area is great for groceries, etc. Quick into Northside Chicago. |

| The non-smoking room smelled like smoke when we walked in. The room was very cold and took a long time to warm up even with the heat on high. The stairways were not shoveled, but the staff was nice. |

| I wasn't expecting much but there were a couple of things that are just basic. Like hot water. It took nearly 15 minutes from the time I turned the water on in the shower until the time it was even moderately warm. A remote for the television and channel lineup would also have been appreciated. I wasn't expecting anything more than that, but certainly not less. |

| Great room, very comfortable. Only 2 minor problems, the light outside my front door was blown making it very dark at night when entering. Second, during check in, clerk ran my credit card again after I specifically told him that the room was paid for. At check out they reversed the charges and appologised. Make sure you do not get charged twice. I will be using this hotel again. |

| The hotel was older but in decent condition. The room was comfortable and clean. A little dingy, but that goes along with older rooms. All in all, a fine place to stay for the value. |

| The hotel is on the old side, set up more like a motel with the doors outside instead of inside. The room was clean, but the bathroom floor was a little dingy. All in all it was a place to sleep and a clean room. |

| The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable for the rate I paid. The surrounding neighborhood was safe and the location allowed easy access to downtown Chicago. |
