Recent Comfort Downtown Review: "In planning our 3-night vacation in Chicago, we looked for a hotel that was centrally located and reasonably priced and that guests had reviewed favorably. For our purposes the Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown was outstanding. We were particularly impressed by the staff, especially the concierge, who was very helpful and friendly. Our room wasn't big,  but it was certainly comfortable, well maintained, and clean. We were out all day, every day, and had no need for more space. It was also very quiet. The complimentary breakfast each day was self-serve but good, and we enjoyed meeting other guests there. The hotel is just three blocks from Michigan avenue and far enough downtown to walk to the Art Institute, not to mention all the shops, the Loop, and restaurants. We came by plane, so I can't comment about parking. We really enjoyed our vacation, and when we return to Chicago, we'll hope to book another room at Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown."
