| The Congress was o.k. My first rooms previous guests were smokers. I couldn't stay in that room & the desk staff found me a new room immediately. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bed was fair. |

| I guess you get what you pay for. I chose this hotel for the low price primarily and the location secondarily. The facilities are in dire need of updating. The room was too cold. When I complained, they sent up a space heater? |

| The location is one of the best. Being old, the rooms have character and good views. A/Cs canbe updated. But overall, a good stay, good service and a perfect location. |

| The hotel rooms are large and clean. While I'm sure during the warmer months the location is fantastic, the freezing wind blowing down Michigan Avenue makes walking around the neighborhood pretty unpleasant. |

| This hotel could not be in a better location. The room was big and had character, the bathroom was a little small, but that's to be expected. We liked it. |

| There was absolutely no hot water not even luke warm. When we checked out i mentioned that, the lady said ohh sorry. No compensation, nothing! Very rude! |

| Almost cancelled due to many not so good reviews. Glad I stayed! The location and price were both great. The striking workers were a non issue, my room was comfortable and clean, the lounge was a nice hangout between other stops. Yes it's an older historical hotel, but well kept I thought. Would definitely stay there again! |
