Recent Crowne Plaza Metro Review: "I booked this room for an overnight stay while in Chicago for a Detroit Red Wings game at the United Center. After a short cab ride from Union Station, we were welcomed by Curtis(r) at the front desk. We checked in quickly and found our room with no trouble. We loved our room! It was very clean and spacious. The ipod docking station with dual alarms  was very conveinent. We especially enjoyed being able to step out onto a balcony and overlook the city, which was the ammenity that sealed the deal when I was trying to decide which hotel to book, considering my priority was the location. In the morning, my boyfriend suggested we call for room service.A As an employee of the hospitality industry, I have worked room service in hotels and knows how long things can take and what can possibly delay an order. After telling him we probably would be ready to leave before they even got up there, to my surprise, our order was delivered promptly, 10 to 12 minutes after calling. Very nice! I tried to figure out how to do the in room check out by using the television, and I have to say, I was a bit confused. Then again, it was early. Reluctantly, we headed down to the front desk, which I assumed would be a time consuming hassle. Once again, to my surprise, we were done in less than a minute or two. On the way home, we discussed wishing we had an extra night available to stay at the Crowne Plaza Metro again because we enjoyed it so much! Thank you Crowne Plaza Metro for making our Chicago visit so wonderful and memorable! I look forward to seeing your friendly, helpful staff again when we come visit in the future!A"
