Recent Doubletree Ohare Rosemont Review: "This hotel was awesome and a bargain for AAA members for the quality of facilities and the price we paid. Suggestion for improvement would be a shuttle PICK-UP from the CTA Blue Line station as we had to walk "2 blocks" which was more like a mile and a quarter to get there, crossing a busy 6 lane road at one point. Ironic since the hotel shuttle dropped us off at the station but wouldn't pick us up - that just didn't make sense.
Adjacent to the hotel is Gibson's Steak House - very pricey and probably typical of high-end Chicago fare. For example 28 oz. lobster tail was 105.00 - 145.00 if you wanted the "turf" to go with it.
We were challenged to keep the bill under $60 for two people for planked whitefish with mashed potatoes, cheeseburger and fries, soft drinks, and a scoop of ice cream each for dessert. Most desserts could feed 6-8 people with no downsize portion options for only 2.
There is another restaurant attached to the hotel which, after seeing both menus would have probably been a better choice. But breakfast buffet on Saturday for 2 people amounted to $40 including the tip - pricey for breakfast even - not a lot of other food options in the area so you're pretty much confined to these two if you're using CTA transportation.
You could hop back on the Blue Line to downtown 40 minutes away, but then you're back to walking the mile or so from the station back to the hotel when you return."

| This hotel was a little bit upsetting to be at. Rooms are nice, service is not what I would expect out of a Doubletree.
When I had to use the cart to leave, I was told to leave a drivers license...which wasn't practice for anyone else who I have seen use the bell hop carts before. Also this hotel charges if you would like to send luggage/package ahead of time. It is about $10/package. What is upsetting was that they did not tell me this when I clarified with them about this prior to sending.
Unless you need a lot of sodium in your diet do not eat at the BC Bistro, it is disgustingly salty. I went to the restaurant and didn't complain because I was there with clients. Had the seared tuna--which was cooked all the way rather than have the pink middle. Not that great. Checked with my partner and the Jamaican salad he had was also salty.
I will be in town for other business trips and when I go back, I will think twice about going to this hotel. One of the pluses is that it is literally across the street from the Convention Center. |

| Hotel was very nice & clean. Great place to stay if you fly into O"Hare. For us, would probably choose to stay in the downtown Chicago area next time because most of our time was spent downtown and the El Train Trip to get there is between 30 - 45 minutes. If you don't mind the time on the El, would definately choose this hotel. Only other suggestion would be to add a continental breakfast for those traveling with families. Would have been nice to have that for our kids rather than paying 10.00 for a buffet. |

| Very nice hotel; good value. Only complaints: the vending machines did not work, which meant you had to buy snacks & drinks in the gift shop which closes early.
Also, we forgot toothpaste & razor, & there was a sign in the room stating that in case you forgot a basic toiletry item, the front desk would be pleased to provide you with it, complimentary (as almost every other hotel does).
However, when i asked for these things at the front desk, the man was very rude & told me I would have to purchase those things in the gift shop, regardless of what the sign in the rooms said. Unbelievable. Dishonest, & very petty. Instead of making a big deal out of it i just went & bought those things in the pricey gift shop, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Other than those things, the hotel was great. Nice room, although quite small. Very close to the Rosemont Convention Center (1 block). Great breakfast buffet in the dining room (although good luck trying to find someone to make you the promised omelettes), & a very nice in-hotel bar. Very pretty, classy lobby, & nice indoor pool & hot tub which we took advantage of. Would stay here again, & definitely recommend to others.
Tip: Take advantage of the amazing free breakfast & don't order any of the ridiculously priced room service foods. There are plenty of local places that will deliver right to the hotel. |

| This hotel was nice. It was clean and that is the biggest issue with me! They aren't the most child friendly place I have stayed but they did acomodate us well. I think the worst part was having to pay for wifi and parking but, what can you do.... |

| Pros - very nice rooms, well appointed, courteous people, easy walk to elevated train station.
Cons - overpriced extra services: extra cost for parking if you leave the parking garage even once during a multi-day trip; extra cost for high-speed internet service rather high for a business class motel.
It helps to have GPS car navigation in this area. |

| Good, clean hotel situated in the Rosemont area of Chicago. Rooms spacious and clean and staff seemed fine. We got a complimentary breakfast which was more than adequate - good choice available, Stayed for one night before flight home. Blue line train is about 8 mins walk away and takes about 35 mins to get into central Chicago. Hotel is close to the O'Hare airport - about 5mins ride away, Costs $10 in taxi but they do have a free shuttle bus - just ring from airport - we couldn't be bothered to wait for it so just took taxi to hotel. However did use bus on the way back to the airport. |
