Recent Fairmont Millennium Park Review: "I live in the near North Burbs of Chicago and wanted to stay somewhere close to Navy Pier (I took my wife on one of the awesome boats cruises for our 1st wedding anniversary). This place is very posh. I'm not a very extravagant person myself but I like cool and yet different types of hotels. This place is big....it's different....the staff is really  friendly...always calls you by your name, even when you call up the font desk, it's right next to Millennium Park and the rooms are super cool. I liked the overall make-up and design of the hotel. I don't know how some people on here can complain so much about so many things. Stuff is going to happen and as long as they apologize and do everything in their power to help make-up for a mistake or something that went wrong, that's about as much as you can ask for. I am an easy going person and this place totally personifies that. I took the train here to avoid the ridiculous parking fee, which I think is wrong if your staying at the hotel. In my opinion it should be free when you're already paying a couple bills a night for a room. That was the only thing I saw wrong. I'd stay here every for anniversary."
