Recent Hard Rock Chicago Review: "All I am saying: is give this hotel a chance.
Ok enough of the rock and roll references.
We are in our mid 40's and decided to do a rock and roll theme weekend in honor of our going to the Rod Stewart/Stevie Nicks concert.
To say this hotel is for 20-30 yr olds is really a load of crap. If you love rock and roll, it will not matter what age you are.
We have stayed at a number of downtown hotels. By far, this one was the most fun. We spent time going from floor to floor looking and taking pictures of the artist displays on each floor. From the time we pulled up, we had a feeling this was going to be special place.
The vallet staff not only greeted us with a warm welcome and immediate help. They even went back to the car after it was parked to retrieve my wife's cell phone.
Then when we checked in, Jason told us that we were in for something special and upgraded our room.
This hotel makest the effort to make the customer feel special. That is rare to find in this day and age.
The housekeeping staff attended to our requests and the young man who was working the shop on the Sunday morning was very helpful with a great sence of humor.
This is the perfect place to stay if you are just going to hang around the loop / mag. mile area.
Keep in mind this is a rock and roll themed hotel.
If you are a prude, this fun place is not for you.
One other item I need to mention is the management response that I found on most review sites that regarded this hotel. No matter if the review was possitive or negative there was a response from the management. I really respect that. We plan on visiting this hotel again and again! It really was that much fun.
To the hotel staff: Keep doing what you are doing. You guys really know how to Rock and Roll! We will see you soon.
Peace"
