Recent Hard Rock Review: "This hotel was a pleasant and unexpected suprise. We had read a few mixed reviews and were prepared for some minor variances but there were none. The prices were competitive and the location was great for our needs. Very satisfied. Exceeded our expectations. Most importantly... Hard Rock staff was super awesome. It was the 4th of July weekend and the place was packed. BTW... Loved the vintage green granite building. Modern ammenities throughout. were fun. Valet to our room..quick and quiet...Needed more coffee...rushed to our room. Our floor (22) was quiet as a vault. Car valets particularily helpful. Everyone on staff was super attentive. Finally...left camcorder charger in wall at departure..phoned housekeeping staff next day..call back from them and items sent to my home via UPS same day with additional lost belt, camcorder battery and a pack of matches from the Playboy Club ...and get this..a small solid silver ring which was a cherished item by my travel partner was found and included in the return. I really appreciated that and it was in my opinion a class action by houskeeping staff.
Food great...conciere..helpful..top to bottom a great and suprising experience.
Thanks to Hard Rock staff for their varsity performance.

| I was in town for a hardware show and booked the Hard Rock because of the location and it was very reasonable. I am so glad I stayed there!!! The staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful, modern, clean and quiet. What I was most worried about was that I am a 52 year old woman and even though I consider myself a little on the cool side, I was worried that I would be frowned upon as being a "grandma" in a very hip, cool hotel. Just the opposite. While there were lots of FAB young people there, everyone was very nice and polite to me. Staying at the Hard Rock made me remember how much fun it was to young! Many thanks Hard Rock and I hope to stay with you again! |

| If you are a fan of the Hard Rock Cafes or classic rock music, you need to stay at this hotel. Each floor has music memorabilia (I was on the Bob Dylan floor) and a theme based on the performer's memorabilia. They also offer "loaner" Gibson guitars and headphones during your stay. Rooms are contemporary and clean. Since the hotel is in the middle of down town, parking is expensive. No fitness facility. Excellent hotel restaurant. I recommend the hotel. |

| Very helpful staff...love that it was easy to get in and out of hotel as opposed to a monsterous hotel, like the Hyatt around the corner. The rooms seem a little worn, but all was very comfortable. I would stay again. |

| Great Place to stay in downtown Chicago! Especially considering the price. Definitley would stay here again!! The only drawback was that they were filming a movie near the hotel and had a few of the streets blocked off, causing us to take a small detour to get there. |

| I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were so nice and knowledgable about the surrounding area. They even gave us directions on where to catch the train to get back to the airport. I would stay here again. |

| I choose the Hard Rock Hotel because it is centrally located to all of Chicago's key downtown attractions. The Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Millenium and Grant Parks, Shedd Aquarium and all major museums are within reasonable walking distance. The Hard Rock is also convenient to mulitple metro stops. Service was exceptional and the accommodations were well designed, well furnished, and superbly maintained. A great choice for business or pleasure trips to downtown Chicago! |

| The hotel was 'fine.' Nothing really stood out...I felt it was overpriced, but nothing was bad...was just okay. Rooms were nothing special, lobby nothing special...all just okay. |

| We arrived by train and was only about 2 blocks south of the hotel - wonderful. We took a scenic boat ride on the Chicago River which is only 2 1/2 blocks away from the Hard Rock Hotel. Our favorite restaurant Boston Blackies only a few more blocks north of the river so the location was excellent! Could walk anywhere! The staff was upbeat, friendly and very accomodating. The room was extremely clean, modern yet simple to be relaxing. The king size bed was very comfortable - We can't wait to go back again - a definite 5 star Hotel! |
