Recent Hilton Michigan Ave Cultural Review: "My family and I loved the Hilton Chicago! The room was larger than I expected, and we really enjoyed the convenience of having two bathrooms. The room was exceptionally clean and the service was excellent. One suggestion would be to provide extra pillows for those who like to sleep with more than one (in my family, that's all of us!). I'm sure that we could have had extra brought up to us, but we were so tired when we got in we couldn't wait to get some sleep. Overall, we loved the hotel, but were not especially pleased with the food or the service at the Irish restaurant downstairs. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, and it wasn't worth the money we paid for it once it was finally served. We would definitely stay at the Hilton again, but would definitely find another place to eat!
Just thought of something else- we asked the concierge at the hotel about a good place to go for pizza. She told us to go to Pisanno's- she said to take a left out of the hotel and then another left on Madison. She never told us how many blocks, though- we were so exhausted and hungry, we gave up after about six and went to the aforementioned Irish restaurant at the hotel. She should have given us an idea of just how far away it was- we had our six year old with us, and she began to whine after about three blocks!"

Mediterranean-influenced cuisine with a variety of pasta, seafood, and chicken dishes. Kitty O'Shea's Irish Pub - With exchange students from Ireland working as servers, and Irish beers on tap, Kitty O'Shea's feels like a real Irish pub. The menu includes shepherd's pie, potato soup, and burgers. Local Irish bands play Thursday–Saturday nights, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Lakeside Green Lounge - The lobby lounge faces Michigan Ave and overlooks Grant Park. During the day, coffee and pastries are served.
