| The fabulous institution of the Orrington, a landmark very near the Northwestern University campus, downtown Evanston, and beautiful Lake Michigan, has been wonderfully and comfortably updated. Also has a wonderful bar on the main floor where many come to gather and "hang." |

| Hotel is nice and really well located in Evanston. Personel is educated and the interior of the rooms is nice. The only thing they should improve is that the air conditioning brings something in the air that is bad for an asmathic person like me and it is also noisy. The barthroom is clean but the countertop is extremelly small. |

| It was a pleasure to stay at the Hilton Orrington in Evanston Illinois. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping , were friendly and eager to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. We would definitely return to this hotel. |

| We we staying at the Orrington because of a death in the family and everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful during our visit. |

| Overall, the hotel is fairly nice but not what I expected for a Hilton property. I had stayed here several years ago and enjoyed the "Old" quaintness of the place but when they did the remodel it lost alot of that styling. The lobby is "pretty funky" at best and the sitting area is really out of style with the building with "Ultra-Modern" design. Our room was a small European size 300 sq ft max with a noisy A/C unit in the window. The bed was comfortable - Thank goodness!! Hardly had room to turn around in the bathroom and the shower was just "OK". The hotel bar was under staffed & that led to long waits just for a drink let alone getting appetizers or lunch! The staff was very courteous & helpful. So if you have call to stay in downtown Evanston it's probably your best bet otherwise stay in the city. |

| When the bellman showed us our room we thought it to be too small. The bellman (Gerardo) called the desk and secured a larger, more comfortable room The great service continued throughout our stay. |

| Slightly disappointed in the cleanliness and age of the room and furnishings. I expected better from such a chain.
Location was perfect for Evanston and Northwestern U. Walking distance to food/shops and the Train.
Staff was very friendly....although our complaint about the loud A/C unit was met with slackjawed indifference. |
