Recent Holiday Inn Ohare Review: "As a college student with two buddies, when looking for a place to stay near Chicago I hoped to stay as close to downtown as possible and yet still stay in a safe neighborhood and not pay a lot per night. After hours of searching the web I came across this hotel that offered rooms for a good price, a quality name, and a great location literally only a 5 minute walk away from the Blue Line Cumberland stop. The trip from the station to the downtown Loop stop at Jackson on average was about 45 minutes. When we arrived the staff was extremely friendly especially since we arrived 4 hours before check in and the manager was more than happy to see if our room was ready, store our bags in a safe place in the hotel, and then provide a parking pass for us. The Hotel was clean, of good quality, and the rooms were very comfortable with a large bathroom, desk, chair, and beds. Also, the hotel is right next to a busy street, but this is hardly noticeable in the safety and quite of your room. I definitely recommend these accommodations to anyone wanting to spend time in Chicago without paying the downtown prices."
