Recent Hyatt Regency Review: "My boyfriend and I went to Chicago 4th of July weekend to celebrate the holiday and our one year anniversary. Before we even got to the hotel I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews but I intended to keep an open mind. I'm writing this review to calm some concerns because, quite frankly, I don't get some of these reviews. From the moment we pulled in we were treated like royalty. We had no idea what we were doing because we hadn't stayed at a hotel this nice before but they were extremely helpful in leading the way. Yes, parking is $48 per night but you are in Chicago so just get used to it. We got a very nice room with a great view for no extra cost on the 30th floor by an elevator. I saw a lot of reviews that complained it was too loud being located here. Not at all. We could here some chatter but it wasn't any more different than at any other hotel. As far as hotels go, this is the nicest one I've stayed in. The beds are an absolute dream and I never wanted to get up. The rooms were a great size, bathrooms were spotless, and the water pressure and temperature were great! For being 4th of July weekend and having a completely booked hotel, they did a great job. They treated us so kindly all the way through us leaving. As we left, the valet hardly let me lay a finger on anything. He grabbed my suitcase from me, opened up the car door, closed it for me. It was a terrific experience. When we go back to Chicago, the Hyatt Regency is our hotel of choice."

| We love staying at the Hyatt, it is our favorite hotel in Chicago. We stay there at least 5 times a year. The reception was great and our room was awesome. We had one problem, when we went into the room there was a cigarrette in the toliet and the towels look refolded and thread bare, not pleasant. We took our towels to the maid down the hall and got fresh ones, but it was an unusal experience at a place we enjoy very much. i think the maid team on that floor was watching too many soaps in the rooms and need to go. |

| This is right in the heart of Chicago! Right by Michigan Ave and on Wacker on the river. It was very clean - VERY nice rooms! It was everything I expected and more! I would 100% stay here again! |

| The hotel was right where we wanted it to be but was not what we wanted at all. Upon arriving we loaded our bags up to take them inside only to have a bellman tell us we could not take them in on the luggage cart ourselves. We were told they would meet us with them in the room. There was no way we could carry everything ourselves (we were traveling with a baby) so we had no choice but to let them take our bags away from us. At check in it said we had requested a crib. When we got to our room there was no crib so we had to call and request one again. Our bags finally made it to our room after approximately 25 minutes of waiting for them. Then we waited another hour for the crib, which was not a crib. They brought a pack n play. When I saw they had cribs available I thought it would be a port-a-crib of some sort. The pack n play did not have much padding at all; and what was there was all lumpy. We own a much nicer pack n play ourselves and would have brought our own had we know that was what they considered a crib. We decided very early on that we would not stay at a Hyatt Regency ever again. I attempted to use the express check out to avoid the line but the kiosk told me I had to go to the desk to complete my transaction anyway so it actually wasted more time. Other than the location I would say the best thing was the efficiency of the valet. Overall, we were very unimpressed. |

| I enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, from check-in to breakfast the next morning. Except for housekeeping knocking on the door at 8:40 a.m. on a Saturday(!) morning, everything else was great! I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency. |

| We had a great stay at the Hyatt. The hotel is a little older than many Hyatt's, but we knew that going in. The front desk was very helpful in merging a two-day personal stay with a three-day business stay paid by the company. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We got several recomendations from the concierge for dinner that all turned out to be excellent. Only complaint - unprofessional behavior between Valet staff and taxi drivers and rediculous Valet parking charge - $50. |

| Timing was perfect for my stay. The hotel was nice and quiet. I was able to watch a movie being filmed right from my room window. Everyone was friendly and asked if I needed assistance. I would definitely stay here again the next time I do come to Chicago. |

| Our room was right behind the elevator. Not only did it keep up all 3 adults but it constinitly inturupted my two year olds sleep. We will never except a room next to the elevator again! |
