Recent Hyatt Regency Chicago Review: "My boyfriend and I went to Chicago 4th of July weekend to celebrate the holiday and our one year anniversary. Before we even got to the hotel I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews but I intended to keep an open mind. I'm writing this review to calm some concerns because, quite frankly, I don't get some of these reviews. From the moment we pulled in we were treated like royalty. We had no idea what we were doing because we hadn't stayed at a hotel this nice before but they were extremely helpful in leading the way. Yes, parking is $48 per night but you are in Chicago so just get used to it. We got a very nice room with a great view for no extra cost on the 30th floor by an elevator. I saw a lot of reviews that complained it was too loud being located here. Not at all. We could here some chatter but it wasn't any more different than at any other hotel. As far as hotels go, this is the nicest one I've stayed in. The beds are an absolute dream and I never wanted to get up. The rooms were a great size, bathrooms were spotless, and the water pressure and temperature were great! For being 4th of July weekend and having a completely booked hotel, they did a great job. They treated us so kindly all the way through us leaving. As we left, the valet hardly let me lay a finger on anything. He grabbed my suitcase from me, opened up the car door, closed it for me. It was a terrific experience. When we go back to Chicago, the Hyatt Regency is our hotel of choice."
