Recent Renaissance Chicago Downtown Review: "After check-in, we opened our hotel room to great delight. The hotel room boasted a gorgeous view of the Marina Towers with the river's bend down and to our right. The furnishings were just perfect--modern, yet cozy. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful with all the little things that made our stay a true pleasure--the bathroom has a perfect dim light that turns on beneath the vanity when the overhead light is turned out, so you can find your way should you need to stop in the middle of the night. The pillows, too, were just wonderful with a variety of nearly ten square-shaped pillows of varying densities--there's bound to be one for every one. :) My husband and I both had a very restful night sleep. We didn't hear another guest or anyone in the hallway during our entire stay, and we were generally very impressed! (We paid extra for the river view--totally worth the money!) When we stay downtown again, we'll definitely come back to the Renaissance! We've stayed at many top-rated hotels, and we found this stay to be one of the very best!"
