| We had a Michigan Ave suite. Absolutely fantastic room and view of both the city and the lake! A great place to stay right by the water works just off of Michigan Ave. |

| I can't say enough about our stay at the Ritz-Carlton! They went above and beyond making our mini vacation wonderful! They are extremely kid-friendly! My 2 sons, 6 and 3 years old, had the "candy-man" visit, had cookies and juice boxes in the room, had child sized robes and toothbrushes, a tent was set up in the room and they even got to bake cookies with the pastry chef. I will certainly stay there again and recommend to anyone traveling to the Chicago area (especially those with kids). Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We were lucky enough to have a lake view. The food was great! Every employee was friendly and helpful. The hotel is connected to Water Tower Place, which makes it a great location for dining and shopping. All in all, we loved it! |

| The Four Seasons Ritz-Carlton Chicago was wonderful. Stayed in the deluxe lake-view suite for the price of a Michigan Avenue suite. (The hotel upgraded us upon check-in.) The room was spectacular! My only complaint was that we wanted coffee in the room, and a coffee maker wasn't in my "profile," so I had to have one delivered. Housekeeping didn't clean it up, so after 2 days, I called and asked for housekeeping to deal with the coffee maker and dirty cups. Housekeeping referred me to room-service, who was responsible for changing that out. Just a little glitch to bug me. Oh well, the amenities were fantastic. The view was to die for. The location cannot be beat, as it is attached to the Water Tower Place Mall, and right next to everything North Michigan Ave has to offer! Would definitely return! |

| The hotel was fabulous. It was beautiful and clean, and most importantly everybody working there went out of his/her way to be accommodating and pleasant. It defined what I want out of luxury. It lived up to both the Ritz and Four Seasons reputations. |

| Four Seasons hotels worldwide are noteworthy for their top-tier accommodations and service. The Ritz-Carlton Chicago is no exception. Their standard room was attractive, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The concierge staff were knowledgeable and gracious.
Of particular note is their security policy. As happens routinely in hotels, my room key became ineffective. Equally routinely, hotels merely "recharge" them and hand them back. Not the case here--the key was fixed and a security guard accompanied me to the room to check my picture ID.
There are upscale hotels that have an officious and superior atmosphere. That kind of attitude is completely absent here--all hotel personnel are friendly and hospitable.
It was a very enjoyable stay. |
