Recent Sheraton Chicago Towers Review: "My family and I stayed for the entire weekend. The hotel was super nice and clean. Guest services were friendly and attentive. The hotel had a lot of corporate functions while we were there but there were lots of places to get away from all the people. Everyone went out of their way to attend to every need we had. The only thing that I would change is the parking. Parking is $39.00 a day, which I find to be a bit much considering the room is kind of expensive and you have to tip everyone in every department. The pool is nice, small but well maintained. The Java bar was nice for late night drinks or early morning coffee and they served Starbucks. Shula's Steakhouse was in the lobby and the food was great, but pricey. The location of the hotel was central to everything including the Magnificent Mile and the Navy Pier (a couple blocks from each) and Millenium Park (no pets there, fyi). Our room had a great view of the Navy Pier but we couldn't see the fireworks on Saturday night (high rise apartment complex in the way). When we checked in, guest services offered to upgrade us and asked us what kind of view we would like, without prompting! If you are a couple, they will upgrade you to the King suite with complimentary breakfast and free snacks, unfortunately we had the kids with us so that was not an option for us but a really nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again, for the money it was totally worth it. One tip, if you're coming to Chicago, bring LOTS of money as it is very expensive. Also, two blocks around the corner is a gourmet store called Fox and Obel, it has a great cafe inside and a fantastic bakery and deli that you can take back to the hotel with you. Especially because room service is WAY overpriced (eggs and toast for $19) and not especially good. Enjoy! Very recommended."
