| Staying at a Super 8 can be a gamble...some are in desperate need of repair/updates and better housekeeping, while others are very reasonable budget hotel rooms. While I paid more for this Super 8 than some others, it was worth it...especially considering it was by far the cheapest room around. The room was clean and well kept, though a bit cramped (I had 2 queen beds). The staff was friendly, and they actually had a waffle maker at breakfast...maybe the norm in some places, but a great addition to the normal Super 8 bagels-and-cereal breakfast. There are plenty of department stores and chain restaurants nearby...with a McDonalds and Buffalo Wild Wings practically sharing the hotel parking lot. For a traveller passing through, this was a good deal. |

| THe Super 8 motel in Crystal IL was great. When I arrived the staff was kind and friendly. THey made sure that I had every thing that I needed and gave me great directions to the nearest food store. THe room was very clean and neat. I would and will stay here again in the near future. |

| It was a bit odd that I pulled up and there were only 2 automobiles in the lot. Made me think it was not a good hotel. The staff was friendly and after I got over my initial awkward feel for seeing no other cars in the lot, the stay was fine. The worst part was that the hotel had an odd smell that was coming out of the ventilation system. The smell needs to be improved. |

| I checked in very late, but the desk attendant on duty processed me right away. The room was clean and for the most part quiet. I just needed a place to sray for one night and this Super 8 was just what I needed. |

| we were disappointed that the room smelled like someone had been smoking non stop in it for weeks even though it was a non smoking room. Also the bed was uncomfortable, the blanket scratchy and the towels were thin and rough. |
