Recent W Chicago City Review: "Classical W-Hotel with small rooms, but fancy style. We arrived with some of luggage from a longer road trip, that almost filled our room ...
Rooms offer the usual nice little things what make a W-Hotel stay enjoyable. Were staying at 11th floor and the metro trains were very hearable. Also there was some delivery port somewhere right under us and a truck was permanently beeping while pushing back (this lasted about an hour, but was luckily only during one morning, the next was Sunday ... had no delivery obviously). Try to get a room as high as possible!
Check-In staff extremely friendly and helpful, also at check out (very flexible and helpful). Concierge was not too well informed about the events of the city and more interested to sell tours. But very helpful in making reservations and organizing a complimentary hotel shuttle to a show.
Luckily we only checked in and dropped the rental car afterwards, for the parking rates one can book an additional motel room (but this is the same all over downtown).
Be aware that almost all shops around are closed Sundays (some also Saturdays) as the hotel is in the financial district. Airport train (blue line) is just two blocks away, very convient and no traffic jams.
Would definitely stay there again, especially for the friendly staff which is making you feel like coming home."

| Expert Tip |
The hotel's Living Room is a place of "cathedral-like dimensions and cabaret-like distractions." Fiber-optic carpets, candlelit ambience, DJ-hosted music, screen-projected artworks, and complimentary treats such as non-alcoholic pomegranate mojitos conspire to create this unique setting.
