Recent Wyndham Review: "This is a great place to stay and we would stay again. The hotel is located close to the commuter train into down town Chicago, and has resturants, a park, and a mall close by. It was an easy drive from Midway airport (about 50 min). We upgraded to the PURE room, it was nice, the bed was so comfortable! We were traveling with my 2yr old and the rooms were perfect. The mini fridge and microwave really came in handy. The breakfast buffett was also very good. We thought we would try Denny's down the road one morning, big mistake just eat at the hotel, it is much better and actually less expensive. We did not try the steak place there. Wasn't too impressed with the pool. Thought it could've used some attention, but other people didn't seem to mind. Would stay again for sure!"

| Everything was great....execpt the pool and hot tub need more upkeep. The pool water was a little hazy and there was a ring around the hot tub. Other than that my family and I enjoyed our stay. |

| This turned out to be a great hotel, that was very clean and comfortable to stay in. While we were there, we were trying to decide whether this hotel compared to the Westin we had stayed at once, while visiting Washington DC. The fact is, this hotel is comparable to the Westin, and for the price, it is a far much better deal, for nearly the same quality and classiness one would get at a Westin. |

| Hotel staff was very nice and eager to make our stay everything we expected. The suite was very comfortabe and very handy to the things we were there to do. It was not that far to downtown Chicago.We had a very nice stay and I most certainly would stay there again. |

| Ive stayed here before and its long downhill some.
Our initial room was over the pool and smelled so much like chlorine we were scared and moved to a higher floor.
the rooms are very comfortable, my husband thought last time breakfast was included. the pool is very large and rarely used.
the tv in the exercise room didnt work one day and the second day it was stuck on one channel and ver loud without a day to adjust it.
we ask room service for a microwavable bowl, and about an hour later they brought up a cloth and some windex! THEY could use a few more people that speak english there. the bowl arrived the next morning!
there's some construction on the road outside the hotel, its wasnt noisy, just a bother, but most of chicagoland is underconstruction in the summer.
bottom line............... service was terrible ( our floor's icemaker also didnt work) but the rooms are great. |

| This hotel is a pretty good place. The rooms are a little dated; the carpets look like they need to be replaced, but otherwise, it's a decent place. Our room had a kitchenette, which was convenient. The hotel allows dogs, so it was a real time and money saver not having to check our dogs into a kennel.
The breakfast buffet is very good; it's not complementary, but it's affordable and very convenient. I would have preferred that it would have been open just a bit later, but otherwise it was good. They have Belgian Waffles and Omelets made to order and served their own brewed Starbucks coffee. It was so convenient to be able to just go down stairs in the atrium and have breakfast and then hit the road for sightseeing (no lines, quiet, no waiting for tables). The only gripe I have about the convenience is that there are no stairs to get down to the ground floor, 1st and 2nd levels (except for some fire escape stairs that are way down the hall). The elevators were a little slow, so getting downstairs and back up was a chore (especially when the dogs needed to be taken out).
Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel, it was affordable and decent. |

| Hotel under remodeling, many maintenance issues, poor fit and finish. Not working TV, kind of fixed. Intermittent internet connectivity never fixed. Half of the hotel is facing the load highway.
Very nice Atrium, good price, outside quite pretty.
Might be much better once remodel is done. |

| My stay at was very nice. The suite was great as I very much appreciate the 2 room concept, and the $ was fantastic for the accomodations! I stayed her for a visit to DT Chicago (personal). There is a train station only 3 miles away ($10 cab ride) serving both the Metra and Amtrak. 30+ min. ride to Union Station in DT Chicago. It's great if you don't want to deal with driving, traffic and parking. Unfortunately, the tracks were under construction (that time of year) thus the time schedules were not reliable. Overall my stay was very nice. My only suggestion would be that they should have train schedules available (I had to look them up myself - no big deal) and if they had better maps/directions and suggestions of things to do/see. Overall - I was very satisfied and the staff was very nice. |
